     For the first time in 21 years, Catoosa County has a new sheriff.    
     Two veteran officers ran for Catoosa County Sheriff.. Gary Sisk and Larry Black.  
     Sisk wins with 55% of the vote.. while Black got 45%.

     In Dade County, incumbent sheriff Patrick Cannon falls to challenger Ray Cross.  Sheriff Cannon took 44% of the vote compared to Cross's 56%.
     Cross will face former sheriff Phillip Street in the November General Election.
     Also in Dade County, John Warren wins Board of Education District 3 seat with 59% of the vote to Ronnie Page's 41%.
     And David Powell wins the Board of Education District 5 At Large seat with 55% of the vote to Careyee Bell's 45%.

    In Chattooga County, for the Democratic Sheriff Primary...
    Mark Schrader wins with 70% of the vote to incumbent John Everett's 30%.
    Schrader will face Republican Sheriff Nominee James Dawson in the General Election in November.

     Murray county also had a runoff election for the Republican primary for sheriff.
     Gary Langford wins with 59% over Wyle Pritchett's 41%.
     Langford will face Democratic incumbent Howard Ensley in November's general election.

     The State Representative District 1 race was a tight one tonight.
     John Deffenbaugh wins the primary with 51% of the vote.
     That compared to Alan Painter's 49%.
