Hamilton County Board of Education Assistant Superintendent Lee McDade says the Maintenance department visits every school in the district to make their decision.
"This morning we got feedback from our department that probably wouldn't be a good idea to have school tomorrow since we had really slippery conditions, still real icy," said Assistant Superintendent Lee McDade.
Parent's that are able to make arrangements for their kids are okay with it, but others think it's time to send the kids back.
"I have a mom that doesn't work and a mother in law that doesn't work so I'm lucky," said Jennifer Hickman.
" It's so ridiculous, I haven't been to work in three days, I just hope I don't get fired.  I mean the snow is melting what are they out for?" said Neketa Jenkins.
School aged child care and all extracurricular activities are also cancelled.

I am a bus driver and I don't get paid to be off... But after what I experienced on Tuesday trying to get kids home safely I'm glad school has been out cause I don't want to drive on unsafe roads.
