The Tennessee Valley is rallying around a family whose seen a lot of loss recently.
We're talking about the family of Ray Collins. Collins was a popular D.J. in Chattanooga and suddenly died last month of an aneurysm. Friends held a benefit concert for him today. They tell us his wife is also terminally ill with cancer and they want to help pay some of her bills. Lorri Carroll, Organizer said, "It was not expected, it was an aneurysm on his heart and just took everybody by surprise. He had been out of work because he was sick, she's out of work, and it's just something we felt the need to do."
Several local groups performed today like Alethea and Aunt Betty.
