Later Wednesday evening the whole Riverbend area is going to be packed as The Band Perry headlines at the Coca-Cola stage.
And with this many people and they're garbage... It seems perfect the city beefed up its recycling program at Riverbend.
Officials say the city has already recycled as much this year as it did during all of last year's festival.
That's five to six tons of recyclable materials just from here at Riverbend.
To make it easier for festival-goers to recycle, the city set up 70 big blue recycling containers all over the festival site.
Justin Holland with Public Works explained, "We've noticed that people will seek out a recycling cart if they know they're around and they're easy to spot and if they're convenient for them to participate in the program.  And this solution seems to be something that's worked well."
Holland says the city hopes to up their recycling presence even more during next year's Riverbend.
