The students at Ringgold High School know what it's like to face a natural disaster, that's why they are helping out those in need in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
The Ringgold High School Band will be collecting supplies this week for those in the northeast hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. The group will be taking supplies at the school's baseball field Thursday from 4-7pm and Saturday from 12-3pm.
Eighteen months after Ringgold was hit hard by tornadoes, those at Ringgold High School say it's great to be able to give back to others.
Cleaning supplies like mops, brooms and work gloves are in high demand, but the group says they will also accept canned food as well.
