Robbery Arrests

Chattanooga Police make 6 arrests after a series of robberies. Here is the Police Department News Release:

Yesterday at approximately 1:40 p.m., four suspects were interrupted during a burglary at 1069 Hurricane Creek Drive by the home owner.  The suspects then carjacked the victim’s 2001 Chevy truck.  At 11:00 p.m. the suspects utilized the stolen Chevy and went on a robbery spree by first robbing a victim at gunpoint at 900 Airport Road.  The suspects then robbed a second victim at gunpoint around 12:03 a.m. at 7710 E Brainerd Road and a third victim at gunpoint at 12:10 a.m. at 7301 E Brainerd Road.  At 12:28 a.m. a Hamilton County Deputy observed the stolen Chevy at 7700 Standifer Gap Road and attempted to stop it; however, six males exited the vehicle and fled on foot.  Due to a collective effort of the Chattanooga Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, and the TN Highway Patrol, a perimeter was immediately established which ultimately led to the apprehension of all six suspects in which five were juveniles and one was an adult.  All suspects were charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Robbery with additional charges pending.

Wow! They caught all 6 suspects? I'll bet they ran in 6 diferent directions too. That's good police work! Thanks for getting a little more scum off the streets.
