School buses had a very hard time getting to schools, and getting kids to their homes..
Hamilton Co. Schools Transportation Director Ben Coulter says around seven buses wrecked, some with kids on them.
Several were stuck for hours throughout the day.
Some parents even had to come to the buses.
"In some cases we had students call or the bus drivers call from their cell phones to them to them to let them know they could come get their child from the school bus because the school bus couldn't go to the neighborhood," said Coulter.
The ultimate goal was getting children home safely.
"We're working on those from a case by case basis.  Obviously we've gotta get kids home but we can't endanger the kids or the personnel on the bus," Coulter said.

Oh yes, by all means fire those folks! Especially since the weather folks, when they say "snow", are ALWAYS right on track. Please know that I am totally rolling my eyes right now. Grow one could have known it was going to be that bad. For those that are blaming the school system, let me ask you, did you send your kids even though you heard the weather reports? If so, maybe we could "fire" you from being a parent and prosecute you for sending your kids even though you knew (cause again, these weather reports are ALWAYS right on the money!) this storm was coming. Lay blame at your own feet before you go pointing fingers.

those who decided to not close our area schools should be fired, prosecuted for child abuse, and sued in civil court!!!!!!!!
