Soddy Daisy High School Diversity

Soddy Daisy High School teenagers took part in a joint activity with students from UTC's English as a Second Language Institute.
The two groups met recently at Greenway Farm.
The UTC E.S.L. students got an opportunity to practice the English they are learning at the institute, with help from the teens at Soddy Daisy High School.
The World Literature students from Soddy High got the opportunity to interact with students from seventeen different countries.
Soddy High School Teacher Trevor Fuller says the joint meeting helped his students learn about diversity through a multicultural experience.
Both sets of students benefited from this event by jointly reading, writing, and speaking together.
This is the 12th year Soddy Daisy High School students have helped UTC students practice their English skills.
