The Spring Church in Catoosa County is a portable church, they unload and set up all of their equipment out of a trailer at the Catoosa County Colonnade each Sunday.
But Youth Pastor Skylar Jones was in for a shock when he came to set up this past Sunday..
"Our smaller trailer, the one housing our worship center equipment, the more expensive equipment was missing...Our instruments, amps, cords, lighting, esencial things we need for our worship service," said Jones.
This isn't the first difficulty the church has had to over come.
Their preacher Danny Eiler has been suffering from lukemia for about two years now.
"It was a, the doctor called it a mutation so it created some real physical dificulties and he's just now kind of rebounding from that," said Jones.
Jones says they didn't let their challenges keep them from worshiping this past Sunday.
"We didn't have a full band, we didn't have sound equipment, we didn't have any mics. We still had a sermon, we still met, we told our people what was going on, we still worshiped," Jones said.
He has a message for whoever took their equipment.
"We wish that the Lord would be merciful to them like he's been to us. and that people would hear us say that and maybe whoever took it would hear us say that," said Jones.
