The Tennessee Highway Patrol is filing criminal charges this evening after a fatal car accident.
THP says Dennis Orlando Cruz was the driver in a head on collision on Georgetown road in Cleveland.
That crash killed 46 year old Holli Hough and injured another.
Officials determine that Cruz had been drinking.
He was involved in a high speed chase with the Cleveland Police Department at the time of the accident.
The police department ended the pursuit but Cruz continued to flee.
Cruz is charged with vehicular homicide and criminal simulation.
