"They refer to the World War Two as the greatest generation."

The greatest generation.. But, some have never been honored for their service.
These 4 friends found themselves finally receiving the gratitude they deserve on Sunday.

"Oh, it's nice. It could be no better," says Veteran Ralph Mulkey.

"It makes you feel kind of small," says Veteran Glenn Shavers.

No matter how big or small, their service will not go unnoticed.
Handshakes, hugs, and kisses were abundant.
Baptist International Missions salutes those who defend our country.

James Kennard with Baptist International Missions says, "because of these men we have the freedoms that we have today. because if it hadn't been for men like this willing to lay down their life for this country we would not have the freedoms we have today."

     Freedoms that are not free.
A message, this pastor knows all too well.

"When you think about veterans and you think about soldiers, and seamen, and airmen, you're talking about men,  you're talking about women who are willing to lay down their life for someone else. So when you think of those men and you think of those women you see a wonderful type, a wonderful picture of Christ," says the Pastor of Delray Baptist Church in Rossville, Ga.

So, on this Sunday.. 4 men.. 4 friends.. 4 veterans.. 4 reasons for this honor.
