This goes to ANY dog. If a responsible person is there with a child who is petting and dog or being a round a dog. The responsible adult or to be watching and make sure the child is not provoking the animal. I have saw "sweet" kids small children play with a dog and then next thing you know the kid is doing something to provoke that dog and the dog takes up for its self. People when they get tired of someone pestering them they do something to stop it. So no one can say for sure what happened. Cause you have to watch at all times. I just hope that this dog doesn't get a bad wrap if it wasn't it's fault. I saw a little one day petting a small dog and her grandmother was watching her and when the little girl saw her grandmother look off she slapped the dog and then pinched it in the face luckly it didn't hurt that dog and it just got up and left. But I guarantee you if that dog had of bit or snapped at that girl that dog would have been the one who would have been on the short end of the stick. I don't know what happened in this case.

Why is it you only show out bills being bad and not the rest of them. ANY DOG will attack if provoked, I'm sure this boy provoked this dog.that woman you had on the news saying they turn on you had no idea what she's saying. I've seen allot of dog attacks bit never heard it in the news.it's just not pits, I had a dachshund that attacked a little boy. He provoke it. So don't make pits out to be bad dogs.my family has had pits for years and not one attacked any of us or any of our friends..

Just for the record the "fight" was not physical. Balde was not even near "woman" when flagged down officer arrived,2ndly he was not yet wearing vest until back up arrived, children were removed by woman not by any police officer or w/ 1 finger lifted by 1 to help move them to safe spot aka side of building, children nor woman were in any physical danger unless officers shot, balde was unarmed except with a bb gun (w/out bbs btw)balde was not homicidal and at no point said he was gonna harm any1. he was suicidal asking to be shot. Im not saying that what happened was right but just throwing some facts out there...

Please help! On October 25, my son, Billy Massengale, lost his dog, Loki. He’s completely distraught – Billy and Loki are devoted to each other and basically inseparable. I just wonder, when you are out in the field working, running errands around town or enjoying an evening out, if you should happen to see a dog that resembles him, would you please call me? Night or day, it doesn’t matter. 423-704-2002 Loki got out of Billy’s house (corner of Melinda and Locksley, off Highway 58, near the Highway 153 interchange) on Saturday night, October 25 and we’ve heard absolutely nothing since. Billy and I have and will continue to visit HES, McKamey and River every other day walking through and looking at every dog they’ve got. We’ve posted and reposted on Facebook and Craigslist and have put dozens of flyers (I’ve attached one) out at businesses all over the Hwy 58 area. However, after this long we know he could be anywhere… Loki was wearing his collar with current rabies, City and ID tags – and he’s microchipped! I don’t understand why we can’t find him – we’ve done all the right things… Either someone has him and, because he’s such a sweet and friendly dog, that person is ignoring Loki’s ID and keeping him, OR…. well, the unthinkable. Please, if you have ever had a treasured pet, then I know you understand the anguish both Billy and I are feeling. If you should spot him anywhere at any time, PLEASE call either me (423-704-2002) or Billy (423-718-1127) day or night – it doesn’t matter… Thank you for all that you do! Ashame that you didn't do a follow up or investigation on this. You would have found out that the people that were pushing for drug tests were voted out. You would have found out that the president had not taken a drug test. That the county had cut there grant due to mishandling of the funds. That the department is not following state regulations for training.

In what state of affairs would it put someone at 57 years old if he has worked several years in Chattanooga and have to move to another city or lose his job? This includes selling of our house and finding a new place to live at the same time, starting all over with all new roots. Not to mention the worst being not having a job at all to go to.
