As you're out and about this holiday week... the Salvation Army wants to make sure you don't forget those who need a little help this Holiday Season.
More than 2100 Angels still need to be adopted from the Angel Tree program
December 2nd is the deadline to adopt a local child or senior.
You'll be helping provide Christmas assistance to those who would not otherwise receive gifts including necessities like food and warm clothing.
The trees are located at Hamilton Place, Northgate, and Bradley Square Malls.
Kelly McCoy, Co-Sponsor Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, "We are getting down to the wire. We have 12 days left to get all the gifts back to the Angel Tree. That time will evaporate very quickly so please if you can while you're getting your Black Friday savings do the most good with the Salvation Army."
The need keeps growing.
The Salvation army registered nearly 5 thousand angels this year... that's up nearly 40 percent from three years ago.
