In some areas, a good kitchen remodel, can actually bring a 100% return on investment. Some of the ideas to do a 'quick fix' are good, but priced way too low - a new counter for $500...? Unless your counter top is only a few feet long, I can't see how this is possible... Changing a sink AND a faucet for $150...? I guess you are assuming one can find the cheapest sink OR faucet in the world (not both, and you must use the same sink hole on the counter...) - what about the plumber cost...?
