(WDEF) About 50 people gathered at Moss's Place Wednesday to get some Affordable Care Act help.
Organizing for Action spear-headed the event.
Representative JoAnne Favors led people through the sign-up process and answered questions from the crowd.
Favors went through the Healthcare.gov navigator training so she could help her constituents.
Wednesday she focused on the females she represents.
Favors said, "Today we're just dealing with standing with women because of some of the issues that have come up throughout the country and state legislatures as far as women's rights to making choices and also having contraception included in their affordable care package and all."
The attendees all got to enjoy a free lunch, courtesy of Moss's Place.
