Cleveland and Lee University jointly celebrated a major milestone Thursday.
Volunteers rose the walls on the 100th Habitat for Humanity House in Bradley County.
The home is located on the last available lot in Century Village.
That neighborhood actually got the name in honor of this 100th house.
Thursday Lee University students helped raise the exterior walls.
Lee University President Dr. Paul Conn said, "The Director of Habitat is an alumni of Lee. We have many Lee alums who work with Habitat as volunteers and as staff, so it's something that we've partnered with a lot. When they came to us and said, "Will you be our partner for our 100th house," we though that was a natural for Lee University."
Volunteers will work tirelessly on the house until the keys are turned over to the home's new owners on December 5th.
