The Environmental Protection Agency green-lights $200,000 for brownfield clean-up in Chattanooga.
The grant allows the Enterprise Center and other key stakeholders develop a plan to tackle the clean-up of the 3rd Street Corridor.
Just last summer the Enterprise Center was awarded one of 21 EPA National Brownfields Environmental Job Training Grants.
Brownfields are areas that have the potential presence of hazardous substances, pollutants or contaminants.
