(WDEF)  Lookout Valley residents now have a quick way to get well.
Onlookers cut the ribbon to formally open the Lookout Valley Urgent Care and Family Care Clinic.
American Family Care held an open house and ribbon cutting this morning at its 48th location.
The newest location is on Cummings Highway near the Tiftonia Walmart.
Dr. Bruce Irwin is CEO of American Family Care attended the opening.  He said, "We're a place where you can go see a doctor easily.  You can get in and out in usually less than an hour.  We provide urgent care, of course, taking care of minor injuries and so forth, but we also provide primary care to people."
Attendees also took guided tours of the new facility.
The first American Family Care office opened in Birmingham in 1982.
