T-Mobile Chattanooga looks to hire 180 people by the end of the year.
The company invited job seekers out today to see what T-Mobile has to offer.
And there was a good response.
You don't see this sign at a lot of places around the country these days.
But here in Chattanooga, T-Mobile is now hiring.
Tim Krug, T-Mobile Customer Care Center Director, "We're very excited about our business here because we believe it's a good place to build your career."
Folks dropped in at the Customer Care Center off Lee Highway near Highway 153...to learn about the 180 positions T-Mobile wants to fill by the end of the year.
Kai Heath, T-Mobile, "We have many, many monthly sales incentives and we have amazing benefits and we'll tell you a little bit more about them. We have medical, dental and vision insurance available."
and much more.
Customer Service or Sales Representative hopefuls also got a head start on the hiring process...by taking an assessment test.
Krug, "We're really looking for anybody that has a little bit of sales or service background, especially the service side, even in a retail environment or any type of service. That's what our main focus here is, to service our customers and take real good care of our T-mobile customers."
The available positions pay between $11 and $14 dollars an hour...and there's the potential for monthly performance incentives.
Krug, "This is an industry that's growing very rapidly and we're in a technology industry that is kind of cutting edge that changes on a regular basis, so it's a really good place to build your career."
