It is the case has cast a dark cloud over the City of Fort Oglethorpe for more than 30 years.
In 1979, Jody Anderson, 15, was found slouched up against a fence with a rope around his neck.
At first glance it looked like a suicide.
However, years later investigators ruled it a homicide.
So what happened?

Strangled and then thrown in a ditch off Mountain Creek Road.
That is what Chattanooga Police say happened to a young woman more than 18 years ago.
Lisa Manis, 24, hitched a ride with a trucker in 1993.
At that time, tthey went from Phoenix, all the way to Chattanooga.
Her mission, we are told, was to find her estranged father.

Chattanooga Police search for a killer tonight, a killer that has gotten away with murder for more than 16 years.
On December 27, 1995, Mary Louise Evans was found shot to death in Alton Park.
According to police, the last person to see her alive was her son-in-law.
