(WDEF) Thursday people eating out in the Chattanooga and Cleveland areas get to enjoy a good meal while helping the American Red Cross.
The campaign is called Dine Out for Disaster Relief.
Whether you're dining in, carrying out or placing a catering order, if you mention the Red Cross a portion of your meal will be donated.
Nearly two dozen different restaurants across the area are participating.
Greg Waite works as the CEO of the Southeast Tennessee chapter of the American Red Cross. He said, "All 22 restaurants have agreed to give a portion of their sales back to the Red Cross to support everything we're doing in the community. Just yesterday we had multiple fires impacting numerous families, so every dollar that's raised through an event like this is going to help those people in need."
