(WDEF) A 60-year-old tradition gets ready to light up downtown Chattanooga.
Dozens of EPB elves have been working for weeks to get the holiday window displays ready for Wednesday night's unveiling.
The annual holiday tradition is EPB's Christmas gift to the city.
The holiday windows will feature moving characters, dozens of Christmas trees and thousands of LED Christmas lights.
Angela Taylor with EPB explains, "It's just been a wonderful experience.  We have some very talented people here and from the display in the windows, you'll get to see all the things that we can do."
The grand unveiling takes place Wednesday evening at 5:30pm.
Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke will join the EPB team for the event.
