The Tennessee Aquarium scared up some Halloween fun Monday morning.
SCUBA divers at the Tennessee Aquarium carved pumpkins-- under water.
Two costumed divers sank to the bottom of the Lake Nickajack exhibit and carved their best jack-o-lanterns.
It's part of the aquarium's "Thrills, Gills and Chills."
All month long, visitors can meet nocturnal animals, listen to special themed-keeper talks and get closer to some of nature's most feared creatures.
But the Nick-A-Jack-O-Lantern is a highlight.
Thom Benson explains, "It's one of those traditions that everyone enjoys but a lot of people don't realize that pumpkins are buoyant so the pumpkins inside the exhibit are a little bit challenging to carve. They actually have to be weighted down a little bit by our divers as they bring them underwater to do the carving."
