(WDEF) The United Way of Bradley County offered a big thank you Tuesday to Amazon.com.
It was for a $6,250 donation to the Bradley County Imagination Library.
Amazon is a statewide partner of the Governor's Books from Birth Foundation.
The Bradley County United Way held a special event Tuesday at the Stepping Stones Preschool to say thank you.
Jaynese Waddell of United Way said, "It's a community-wide program that provides books for children from birth to their fifth birthday, they get a free book in the mail every month.  So it's a huge benefit to our community."
The online retailer actually raised $25,000 total and then distributed it to the four counties that house Amazon fulfillment centers.
