Cleveland EMS Responds to Golden Corral Fire

(WDEF) At approximately 2:00pm Tuesday Bradley County EMS responded one ambulance to a reported fire at the Golden Corral in Cleveland on Stuart Rd. When EMS arrived on the scene there were several fire apparatus on the scene. The fire was concentrated to the back of the building. All customers and employees were evacuated on EMS arrival. There were flames coming from the roof on the rear of the building.

"I was personally on the scene for the EMS stand-by. The Cleveland Fire Department did a great job getting the fire under control. Our job was to be available to provide medical support if needed for any of the firefighters and or pedestrians. We had no injuries during the event." Stan Clark, Bradley County EMS PIO.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
