Four days after the Republican Primary Election, Greg Vital has conceded the District 10 state Senate race to Todd Gardenhire.
The decision came after Vital mulled over the possibility of asking for a recount.
After a corrected computer glitch, the election commission gave Gardenhire a 40 vote lead.
In a statement Vital said, quote..."Although it was a very close race, the election is over."
Gardenhire will face Democrat Andrae McGary in the general election on August 6th.
