These days just about anything you need is just a click away...even church.
A Cleveland pastor's providing a unique worshiping experience online.
And the solely virtual church seems to be filling a void for hundreds of real people.
News 12's Nordia Epps has the details on Parson's Parish.
There's music, a message, and much more.
Dr. David Tullock, Parson's Parish, "Actually it's just an order of worship that you'd see in most churches."
But There's just no church...at least not a building. Welcome to Parson's Parish...the completely virtual church. It's the brainchild of Dr. David Tullock.
Dr. Tullock, "It's designed where they can sit there for 30 or 40 minutes and have an entire worship experience."
Dr. Tullock says he gets 400 hits per month.
He says the online service is meeting a need for those who've abandoned what he calls the steepled church.
Dr. Tullock, "I don't mean that in a pejorative way at all it's just people who are traditionally going to a steeple. I realized that there were a lot including myself who were very frustrated and a lot of folks had dropped out."
His frustration grew after he says a church where he worked chastised him for paying a members light bill.
Now along with meeting spiritual needs, Parson's Parish meets physical ones...currently helping 24 families in trouble.
Dr. Tullock, "This is just a way that people can click and they can see hopefully a common person not a celebrity someone just available and paying attention and basically that's what we all want is someone to pay attention to them whatever the needs may be."
Statistics show 60 percent of don't attend a church.
Parson's Parish brings church to them.
Dr. Tullock says, 'I've had a lot of fulfillment and enjoyment doing that. I got an email from a soldier in Afghanistan. It just simply said thank you for your site."
Real messages like that keeps this virtual ministry always one click away.
