(WDEF)  The weather sends a woman and toddler to the hospital after a one-car wreck in McDonald.
It happened around 8:45am Wednesday morning in the 4600 block of South Lee Highway.
Investigators determined the vehicle that was traveling south-bound ran off of the road and struck a tree.
They do believe weather was a factor in the crash.
The female adult driver and female toddler were taken to Erlanger and T.C. Thompson Medical Center for treatment.
