Georgia voters head to the polls to settle primary races in Congressional districts across the state today.

Polls open at 7:00 o'clock this morning.

Voters in North Georgia have several big races to decide including who will represent the Republican Party on the ballot in November for Sheriff in Catoosa, Walker, and Dade Counties.  Catoosa's top cop position will be open with the retirement of Sheriff Phil Summers.

In Dade County, voters will also be asked if a set portion of taxes should go toward the library.

And all voters in Northwest Georgia will decide whether to approve a transportation tax referendum.
