Walker County Sheriff's Office Looks into Carjacking

(WDEF)  The Walker County Sheriff's Office investigates a carjacking that happened in broad daylight.
        A 71-year-old female told police she was carjacked Monday afternoon at the Grocery Shoppe in Rossville.
        The victim was sitting inside a parked car while her daughter-in-law was inside the store shopping.
        She said two young men approached the victim, showed her a dark colored steel automatic handgun and asked her to exit the vehicle. The victim reported the young men were “very polite.” The victim was not injured.
        The suspects both had short hair, were wearing blue jeans and t-shirts and are of medium build.
        The suspects fled north on Wilson Road towards the Tennessee state line.
