Chattanooga Parolee Samuel Lemorris Ervin Charged with Shooting at Officer Klein

Detectives with the Chattanooga Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit have arrested 22-year old Samuel Lemorris Ervin for shooting at Officer James Klein on March 16, 2013 in the 4100 block of Fagan Street.

Ervin has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for Violation of State Probation/Parole.

Ervin received a 3 year prison sentence in 2010 for pleading guilty to robbery and possession of cocaine for resale.
