Seventy-five local families will have a Thanksgiving meal with all the fixins'...thanks to the students at McCallie School.
We caught up with the folks from the Salvation Army as they loaded up the truck this afternoon.
Without this donation the families probably wouldn't be able to prepare a complete Thanksgiving meal at home.
The Salvation Army's Kimberly George tells us it says a lot about the students.
Kimberly George, Salvation Army, "The boys are so caring. They care more about just themselves. So many times we hear kids are just self-centered and in their own little world but this is a great testimony on how they really care about those around them."
Unfortunately there are more families out there that need a hand.
That's where you come in.
You can help by dropping money in the red kettles around town...or adopting an angel so a local child or senior can have a Christmas this year.
And the Salvation Army still needs volunteers too.
