(WDEF) 18-year-old Marcus Shane Anderson of Pisgah was indicted by a Jackson County Grand Jury for the charge of murder stemming from an investigation into his infant child death.
The indictment came after the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Jackson County Department of Human Resources investigated the death of Kaisley Anderson, a nine-week-old infant.
Kaisley Anderson was flown by medical helicopter to the Huntsville Hospital on October 24th, 2013. She died at the hospital.
An autopsy was performed and determined she had died from traumatic head injuries.  Anderson was Kaisley Anderson's father.
Anderson was arrested and charged with murder and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
      He's being held on a $50,000 bond.
