An accused kidnapper sits behind bars this afternoon...and several adults get the credit for detaining him.
Fifty-two old Perry Inman faces one count of kidnapping.
Athens police say he approached a 12 year old boy who was sitting on his porch and invited the boy to the local Y-M-C-A.
Officers arrived to the attempted kidnapping call to find several adults had kept Inman from leaving.
He's now in the McMinn County jail on a 10 thousand dollar bond.
He's due in court next Friday.
