Turnout started out heavy at most voting precincts this morning in Georgia.
People stood in line at the Fairview precinct in Walker county when the polls opened at 7 a.m.
More than 200 voters had cast a ballot by 9 o clock.
And some of them went to the wrong precinct.
Mike Morgan, Wrong Precinct, "Yeah, I just went to the wrong one, I voted there 4 years ago. They told me to come over here."
Billy Gene Ledford, Walker County "I vote in all of them. it's the only thing we got left. Whether it does any good or not...I don't understand this electoral vote thing...but I vote anyway."
One of the big races in Walker County is between Commissioner Bebe Heiskell and write-in candidate Ales Campbell.
We also understand a power outage affected Southern Walker County.
We're told a tractor trailer truck hit a Georgia Power Company transmission tower.
It knocked out power for at least 46 hundred North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation customers for half an hour.
Some Georgia Power customers also lost power.
But it shouldn't impact voting since the machines are battery powered.
