"One Mind, One Heart, One Team" Traditions Continue at Ridgeland High School

The Freedom From Religion Foundation claims organized prayer and church sponsored pre game meals are violating students first amendment rights. But, today, Walker County school officials says they see no violations and will continue their traditions.

Tradition does not make it right or Constitutional. Why not err of the side of Constitutionality rather than thumbing your nose at any non-xtian that pays taxes there or attends the ball games, as well as any non-xtian students on the team.

Keep church and state separate! Freedom of religion includes freedom from religions. Religious activities should not be a part of state-supported school activities.
