WHITFIELD COUNTY, Georgia(WDEF) - There is a state wide man hunt in Georgia for a woman who is accused of stabbing a man to death during a robbery in Whitfield County.
Authorities are looking for Skyy Mims. The Detroit native is accused of killing Dahyabhai Kalidas Chaudmari, 37, of India.
Investigators say Chaudmari was working at gas station late Sunday night when he was stabbed to death. A surveillance video along with other evidence led police to name Mims as their prime suspect.
"There's a lot of unanswered questions we have right now. The media is asking. The public is asking. We're asking the very same questions," said sheriff Scott Chitwood.
Many are asking Mims was allegedly able to get the drop on Chaudmari. A closer look at the surveillance photo show that Mims appears to be only wearing a jacket with no other clothing over her upper body. Was this a tactic to catch Chaudmari off guard? If so how easy was it?
"Very easy. We certainly noticed that. The dress or lack there of so again anything is possible," the Sheriff said.
Another question is where is she? Since her picture and name were released by authorities Monday night, a lot of people have posted threatening comments on both her facebook page where she talks about an upcoming talent show in Atlanta as well as her Youtube page where she appears in a dance video
"We know there's been some connections made in Atlanta so we got some groups down there looking. Certainly it's going pretty broad across the state of Georgia to Metro Atlanta," the Sheriff said.
Authorities believe Mims is armed and dangerous. In addition to searching for her in Georgia, authorities have also been in contact with police in Michigan.
