An early morning house fire in Whitfield county was intentionally set.
That's the word from Sheriff Scott Chitwood.
The fire broke out at 105 East School Street in Tunnel Hill around 3:30 this morning.
The Whitfield County Fire Department responded and got the flames under control.
A man was transported to the hospital.
Sheriff Chitwood says it appears he set the fire to kill himself.
The Sheriff says at last check he was going into surgery, but there's no word on his condition.
