A SWAT standoff in Chattanooga this weekend put a 92 year old man behind bars.
Y.C. Cothron is charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault and a count of Reckless Endangerment.
Police say he fired several shots at officers when they stopped by his place on James Lane Sunday evening just before 7 p.m.
SWAT and Hostage Negotiations responded.
After several attempts at talking him out of the home...officers used a chemical agent.
Cothron then surrendered.
It all started when officers went to his home to check on him.
Sgt. Wayne Jefferson\Chattanooga Police Dept., Really don't know what he was aiming at. They said they came from in the house and came toward the front of the house, so we're not too sure what room he was firing the shots from."
Police believe Cothron was alone in the home.

At 92, the police never heard of Alzheimer's? Or Dementia? Poor eyesight? or Loss of Hearing? Did they loudly announce themselves? Factors, not fictions.....
