Birthday party turns bloody in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) - A Friday night celebration turned so violent that two people found themselves being treated for gunshot wounds.

Chattanooga police said it happened during a house party on the 4000 block of Quin Adams Drive.
According to reports, David Shropshire,18, was shot in the hand and a 16 year old girl was shot in the neck. The two victims were able to drive to the hospital to get treated for non-life threatening injuries.

There is no word on what led to the shooting. The unidentified person who fired the shots fled the scene in a vehicle.
