Gasps and tears greeted Courtney Birt as he was led into court on Tuesday morning.
Members of the crowd were heard whispering, liar and cheat as the witnesses testified and many were asked to stop leaving and entering the court room.
On three occasions the judge demanded the witnesses speak louder due to noise in the courtroom including 2 phone calls.
Lamunta Williams aunt spoke to the media afterwards.
"He's a f+++ing coward, a big head ass coward, let a 16 year old, you gonna kill a 16 year old, and you older than him, how come you couldn't put your dukes up and fight the man, you scared you gonna get yo ass whooped".
Tanya Jones says she was overcome with anger throughout the proceedings.
Officer Karl Fields says how prior to the shooting on March 5th, Birt's girlfriend had an altercation with Lamunta Williams on Valentines day.
Birt will remain in prison and the case is bound over to grand jury.
