According to Chattanooga Police:
On Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 10:48 PM, Chattanooga Police Officers responded to a person shot call at 3412 Jones Street. Upon arrival officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and one victim with minor abrasions from broken glass. Cary Abram (B/M DOB 3/31/85) and a B/F victim were transported to the hospital. Cary Abram was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Victims stated that they were sitting in a vehicle smoking marijuana in front of 3412 Jones Street when unknown parties began shooting at the vehicle.
Cary Abram (victim 1) lived at the location of the shooting with his brother Cory Abram. Both brothers were arrested in Saturday’s saturation for drug possession and have past records indicating involvement in drug trafficking.
The shooting at 3412 Jones Street appears to be drug/money related with no connection to gang activity.
This case is pending and the investigation is continuing.
