Drive-by shooting in Chattanooga sends two men to the hospital

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) - Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injures after being shot during an apparent drive-by shooting late Saturday morning.

It happened outside a home on the 2400 block of East 14th. Street.

Both men were reportedly on the front porch when they were shot.

A local business owner identified as Gary Ball, heard the shots and saw the car peel off.

"We were in the shop here working and heard a whole bunch of rounds go off and we didn't know what it was so we walked out and saw a speeding copper colored GT mustang go by and I guess that was the shooters," said Gary Ball. He further went on to say, "when we came out front here, the guy on the porch started yelling call the police. Call the police."

According to witnesses, there were two black men inside the copper-colored Mustang GT. One of the men reportedly had long hair.
