(WDEF) East Ridge Police investigate what appears to be a murder suicide.
Tuesday night, family members of Susan and James Ingram went to their home on Wimberly Lane.
They were concerned when Susan had not reported to work.
When no one answered the door, they forced their way inside.
There they found Susan and James both with single gunshot wounds to the head.
Police say early indications are that Mr. Ingram shot his wife prior to shooting himself.
