There was another officer involved shooting.
This time in Fort Oglethorpe.
It happened around 11 p-m Tuesday night at Gateway Antique Mall at 4031 Cloud Springs Road.
The Fort Oglethorpe Police Department says officers discovered a burglary in progress there.
They surrounded the building... trying to catch the suspect.
The suspect fled the building, and encountered other officers.
He was shot by police during the confrontation.. but he recieved non-life-threatening injuries.
It is standard procedure for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to look into any officer involved shooting.
The suspect's name was not released at this time... or the officer or officers involved.
