They reportedly used a crowbar to get through a front porch window of the home. The woman who was inside quickly called 911, and the two men took off in their car.
"She got the license plate and the make of the vehicle so she was able to give that good description to the police," said Glasscock.
At some point, A sheriffs deputy spotted their vehicle and a chase began. The two men who reportedly threw weapons out their car as authorities were right behind them. The men drove 11 miles to the Fountaine Woods apartment complex in Red Bank where they reportedly ditched their car and took off into the woods.
As for Glasscock, she's been making sure her neighbor is alright. She's also alerted other neighbors on there block to be careful.
"A lady on this corner has three children and I immediately came up the street and told her about it and she was frightened to so it's an eye-opener," Glasscock said.
Neighbors now realize that even their secluded community can fall victim to break-in's.
"I guess because we're so far out from everybody they assume we're an easy neighborhood to break-in to but crime doesn't pay out here because we watch each other," Glasscock said.
