LOOKOUT VALLEY, Tennessee(WDEF) - There is new information about a shooting that left three people dead and one person injured.
According to a police affidavit, Chattanooga Police and Hamilton County Sheriff deputies were called to 4509 Kellys Ferry Road to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived, they were met by a 16-year old who was shot.
The 16-year old directed authorities to a motor home at 4504 Kellys Ferry Road and told them he was at the residence when two white men came up and started shooting at them. The teen was struck by a bullet but was able to run away and call for help.
The teen told authorities that he heard one of the men say "Make sure they're all dead."
The teen was taken to the hospital in serious condition while deputies along with a state trooper moved up to the trailer home where the shooting took place.
Deputies located three people who were shot to death.
One of the deceased was located in an a chair outside the motor home. Authorities say that person was shot multiple times.
A second body was found behind the motor home. Investigators say that person appeared to try to get away by crawling under the the rear of the home. That victim was also reportedly shot multiple times.
A third body was found in the woods behind the home.
Detectives received information that Derek Morse, 19, was one of the shooters. A photo lineup was conducted and Morse was positively identified by the 16-year old.
Morse was charged with attempted criminal homicide.
During their investigation, detectives found numerous gun cartridge casings in the street and in the driveway of the motor home.
The other shooter has yet to be taken into custody and detectives have not released the identity of the three people who were killed.
