CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) - UTC campus officials have released more information about the man accused of raping a teenager.

A spokesperson for the University told WDEF that Police found Nathan Vega, 28, of  Ooltewah and a 17-year-old girl naked and having sex in the back of his car in a U-T-C parking lot.

The Tennessee Department of Child Services was notified.

The girls father told authorities he previously ordered Vega to stay away from his underage daughter.

Local police told the girl's father to get an order of protection from Georgia Law Enforcement.

Vega is due in court July 9th. He is facing charges of aggravated statutory rape, indecent exposure and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

UTC officials also told WDEF that Vega is not a UTC student and has no ties to  the university.
