We are taking a deeper look into an officer involved shooting in Soddy-Daisy.

It happened Saturday night near the 8400 block of Dayton Pike.

Police say Michael Owen, 31, jumped out of the car and ran during a traffic stop.

An officer chased him, and when he did, police say Owen shot at him.

He missed, and Owen was taken into custody.

Officers tell us they also found meth making materials inside the car and a sawed off shotgun.

There was also a 7-year-old, and a teenager inside the car.

Carrie Johnson, 52, was the driver.

We caught up with her friends and family.

George Hensley, Johnson's Friend, says, "Surprised that she had someone in the car with her that had a shotgun and stuff to make meth with. That's really not her M.O."

Owen is facing an attempted first degree murder charge among several others.

Johnson is facing aggravated child abuse charges and others.
