Suspected serial gasoline thief caught by Chattanooga police

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) - A man suspected of stealing gasoline from various vehicles is now behind bars.

Police arrested Thomas Bouch, 39, for theft and vandalism.

According to investigators, Bouch was involved in the recent thefts of gasoline where he cut the gas lines on parked vehicles throughout the Chattanooga Area.

Authorities said there are approximately 18 cases that occurred within the city of Chattanooga and others in East Ridge, Red Bank, Collegedale, and in Hamilton County.

His bond was set at $5,000 and his next court date is June 28th.

$5,000 bond??? Really??? That is Pathetic after all the money he cost these people that have to repair their cars!!! It should be a $10,0000 bond!!!!
